After blowing two accounts when I started, I now follow strict risk management rules: 1. Never risk more than 1% per trade 2. Maximum 3 open trades at any time 3. No trading during major news releases unless specifically playing the event 4. Weekly loss limit of 5% — I stop trading for the week if hit What are your non-negotiable rules? I think risk management is more important than the strategy itself. Let's discuss.

Backtesting is important, but forward testing in a live environment always reveals edge cases that backtests miss.

The London session open at 8 AM GMT is often where the real moves begin. I've built my entire strategy around that window.

Good analysis. One thing I'd add is to watch the COT report — institutional positioning often gives early clues about big moves.
